Democracy works best when it is easy to participate. I am committed to breaking down the barriers between City Hall and your living room by bringing our meetings directly to you.

• Streamed Public Meetings: I will work to make all city commission meetings accessible via live video stream and archived video playback so you can stay informed on your own schedule.

• Open-Access Information: My plan includes freely sharing approved public documents, meeting agendas, and city updates on an easy-to-navigate website long before votes take place.

• Real-Time Updates: I want to keep residents proactive, not reactive, by delivering transparent information regarding city spending, infrastructure choices, and local policy.

My Goal: An Ordinance for Citizen & Commissioner-Led Committees

Government shouldn't happen behind closed doors. One of my primary legislative goals is to introduce and pass a new city ordinance that officially allows for the creation of focused, commissioner-led or citizen-led committees. By establishing these formal advisory bodies, we can hand real influence back to the people who live and work here. I plan to launch committees for:

• Parks & Recreation: Empowering residents to help design, maintain, and upgrade our public green spaces and recreational areas for families and future generations.

• Community Events: Giving neighbors the power to shape our local festivals, holiday parades, and seasonal gatherings to better reflect our unique community spirit.

• Planning & Infrastructure: Creating a direct line for vital neighborhood feedback on traffic layout, street improvements, pedestrian safety, and long-term city planning.

• Collaborative Leadership: I am running to shift Middletown from a top-down government model to a true partnership model where residents and elected officials build the city together.
